Overview

The TREES (Teaching and Researching Equitable Economics from the South) Small Grants programme supports advanced-stage research projects aimed at deepening the understanding of inequality across Latin America and the Caribbean.

Eligibility

• The lead applicant must be a Principal Investigator (PI) affiliated with a legally registered non-profit institution in Latin America or the Caribbean.
• The host institution must agree to administer the grant if awarded.
• The PI acts as the primary coordinator between the institution and TREES.
• Only one grant may be awarded per individual PI.

Benefits

Selected projects may receive funding of up to USD 5,000, awarded to the host institution.
