Overview

This program offers support for highly qualified international students and doctoral candidates who wish to pursue academic studies or research at German universities. It aims to promote academic excellence, democratic values, and international exchange.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet specific academic and language requirements, including:

• German language proficiency at a minimum B2 level
• Master’s applicants must intend to enroll in a four-semester Master’s program at a German university
• Bachelor’s applicants must have completed at least two semesters of a Bachelor’s degree in Germany
• Must be admitted or eligible for admission to a German university program

Benefits

Applicants will receive:

• Up to €992 per month for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and postgraduate students
• Up to €1,400 per month for doctoral candidates
• Health insurance support, family and child allowances, research travel grants, and tuition fee reimbursements in some cases
• Non-financial support including seminar programs, personal mentoring, and networking opportunities
