Young leaders across Eastern and Southern Africa now have an exciting opportunity to strengthen their advocacy and leadership skills through the Eastern and Southern Africa (ESA) Regional Youth Exchange on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) 2026/27.
The programme is inviting applications from passionate young people aged 18 to 30 who are committed to advancing SRHR, youth participation, advocacy, and community engagement across the region. The initiative brings together youth-led organizations from Kenya, Malawi, Uganda, and Zambia to foster regional collaboration and empower the next generation of SRHR champions.
The ESA Regional Youth Exchange Programme is a collaborative initiative implemented by the Network for Adolescent and Youth of Africa (NAYA) in Kenya, the Centre for Youth Empowerment and Civic Education (CYECE) in Malawi as the coordinating partner, Reach A Hand Uganda (RAHU), and the Centre for Reproductive Health and Education (CRHE) in Zambia.
The exchange programme is designed to strengthen youth leadership, innovation, advocacy, and meaningful participation in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights across Eastern and Southern Africa.
Selected participants will have the opportunity to live and work in another African country for a period of 10 months while collaborating with youth-led organizations and contributing to impactful SRHR initiatives and campaigns.
