    • Be enrolled in a graduate degree program or have completed a PhD within the past ten years.
    • Be engaged in research in earth sciences or botany connected to human origins.
    • Demonstrate a commitment to teaching and research in their home country after completing their studies.

    Benefits

    Applicants will receive significant research funding, including:

    • Grants of up to $30,000 per award cycle.
    • Support for research-related expenses including fieldwork travel, living expenses during research, and research supplies.
    • Two annual application cycles: January 10 (spring) and July 15 (fall).
