Overview

The Google Semarak Malaysia Fund is a community-focused funding initiative aimed at empowering grassroots changemakers, social innovators, schools, cooperatives, and organisations in Malaysia to create measurable positive impact. Selected projects can receive up to RM30,000 in funding and access to expert guidance and resources.

Eligibility

The Google Semarak Malaysia Fund is open to a broad range of community-focused entities operating in Selangor, including:

• Schools
• ROS-registered societies
• SSM-registered entities
• Social enterprises
• Registered cooperatives
• Informal organisations and community groups

Applicants must demonstrate a clear social mission, community benefit, and the capacity to complete the proposed project within 12 months. All applicants must be at least 18 years old and authorized representatives of their organisations.

Applicants will receive funding of up to RM30,000, along with:

• Opportunities to implement proven community ideas

How to Apply

Applications must be submitted by June 30, 2026 (+08). Applicants can:

• Submit their own project idea
• Apply to implement a proven idea from the ChangeX platform

Applications will be reviewed based on eligibility criteria, community impact potential, alignment with fund themes, feasibility, and sustainability.
