Overview

This scholarship offers young leaders from Latin America and the Caribbean an opportunity to gain international recognition, connect with world leaders, and amplify the impact of their initiatives by attending the One Young World Summit 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa.

Eligibility

Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old at the time of the summit.
Applicants older than 30 may be considered if they demonstrate exceptional impact, leadership, and engagement.
Applicants must be nationals of qualifying countries from Latin America, Central America, or Caribbean nations.

This fully funded scholarship covers:

Full access to the One Young World Summit 2026.
Hotel accommodation from 2–7 November 2026.
Economy-class round-trip flights to Cape Town and domestic transport costs to the airport.
Visa support where applicable.
Local transportation between the summit venue and accommodation.
Meals during the summit period.
Translation services during plenary sessions and welcome events.
