Overview

This role offers the opportunity to ensure the smooth operation and reliability of the company’s facilities and equipment as a Maintenance Officer.

Key Responsibilities

Manage facility infrastructure, including electrical systems, generators, solar systems, cold rooms, and operational equipment.
Perform routine inspections, preventive servicing, and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot technical faults and respond promptly to maintenance emergencies.
Monitor the performance of power systems and equipment.
Coordinate external contractors for specialized repairs.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
Conduct regular safety checks and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Diploma, OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field.
Minimum of four years of hands-on experience in facility or technical maintenance.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, safety practices, and maintenance procedures.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and maintenance tracking systems.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Must reside in Kaduna.
