Overview

This program offers a prestigious fellowship for Irish media professionals to produce informed mental health journalism with the support of global experts.

Eligibility

Minimum three years’ professional experience in journalism or media (excluding student, blogging, PR, or academic publishing).
Citizens or legal residents of the Republic of Ireland.
Ability to provide a Letter of Commitment from a media outlet with an Irish audience.
Eligibility to travel to the U.S. for training sessions (scheduled for September 14-17, 2026) at The Carter Center, with costs covered by the fellowship.

Two relevant work samples (at least one in the media form proposed for the project, in PDF format or links).
Professional headshot.
Letter of Commitment from a media outlet.
