Overview

This fellowship offers early-career postdoctoral scholars from the South Asian region the opportunity to undertake advanced social science research in the United Kingdom for six months.

Eligibility

• Early-career postdoctoral researchers
• Completed PhD degree at the time of application
• Work within social sciences with a focus on South Asia
• Permanently employed at a recognized institution in the SAARC region

Eligible SAARC countries include:

• Afghanistan
• Bangladesh
• Bhutan
• India
• Maldives
• Nepal
• Pakistan
• Sri Lanka

The fellowship is not open to current PhD students, candidates enrolled in degree programs, or senior academics.
