TECTOPI Nigeria Ventures Launches Fully Sponsored Creative Media Skills Training Programme Under IDEAS-TVET Initiative
Nigeria — May 2026
TECTOPI Nigeria Ventures, in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Education and the World Bank-supported Innovation Development and Effectiveness in the Acquisition of Skills (IDEAS-TVET) Initiative, has officially commenced applications for the Creative Talent Training & Empowerment (CTTE) Programme — a fully sponsored six-month intensive training initiative focused on Creative Media and Digital Production Skills.
The programme is designed to equip Nigerian youth with industry-relevant technical competencies required to participate effectively in the rapidly expanding digital economy, creative industry, and emerging technology ecosystem.
The CTTE Programme forms part of the broader national effort to strengthen Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) systems in Nigeria through market-driven skills development, digital innovation, entrepreneurship support, and employment transition pathways.
Under the programme, selected trainees will receive practical and hands-on training in:
Digital Media Production
Video Editing
Graphic Design
Photography & Videography
Live Streaming Technology
Digital Branding
Social Media Content Production
Creative Technology Applications
AI-Assisted Media Workflows
Participants will also benefit from internship placements, mentorship support, certification pathways, entrepreneurship guidance, and employment readiness development.
According to TECTOPI Nigeria Ventures, the initiative reflects a broader commitment to building sustainable youth capacity within Nigeria’s creative and digital sectors while supporting national economic transformation objectives.
Speaking on the launch, the management of TECTOPI stated that the programme is strategically designed not only as a training intervention but also as a talent incubation ecosystem capable of preparing young Nigerians for future opportunities in media, communication, innovation, and digital enterprise.
The organization emphasized that the programme aligns with Nigeria’s ongoing digital transformation agenda and contributes to the development of a skilled workforce capable of supporting Africa’s growing creative economy.
The CTTE Programme will be implemented at the TECTOPI Innovation Hub in Gombe State using a practical studio-based training model supported by modern digital production tools and collaborative learning systems.
The training is fully funded under the IDEAS-TVET Initiative, and selected participants may also receive monthly stipends throughout the programme duration subject to compliance with attendance and programme requirements.
Applications are currently open to interested young Nigerians, particularly women, unemployed youth, and individuals seeking practical digital and creative media skills for employment or entrepreneurship opportunities.
Applicants are encouraged to complete their registration early and select TECTOPI Nigeria Ventures as their preferred training centre during the application process.
