This volunteer programme offers young Nigerians a unique opportunity to engage in strengthening democratic institutions and promoting civic participation under the European Union-funded Support to Democratic Governance Programme (EUSDGN).
Young Nigerians aged 18–35 years with a strong interest in democracy, elections, and governance can apply. Ideal candidates should have backgrounds or interests in political science, law, public policy, civil society, or journalism. Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn are essential.
Participants will gain hands-on experience in electoral and democratic processes, exposure to international development programming, and access to networking opportunities with governance experts. Additional benefits include capacity-building workshops, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
