Overview

This program offers funding for early-career and mid-career researchers in the United Kingdom from Black, Bangladeshi, or Pakistani heritage backgrounds, addressing underrepresentation in research funding and supporting career progression.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Identify as from Black, Bangladeshi, or Pakistani heritage backgrounds.
• Currently work or reside in the United Kingdom.
• Hold a position at a UK-based administering organization.
• Complete substantive research training (PhD or equivalent) or have equivalent research experience.
• Be an early-career or mid-career researcher appointed to a permanent role within the last 3 years.
• Dedicate at least 80% of research time to the grant.
