The Work4Progress Ghana 2026 Call for Collaborative Networks is a major international development initiative designed to stimulate job creation, entrepreneurship, and inclusive economic transformation in Ghana’s Afram Plains region. Implemented by the la Caixa Foundation in partnership with GBHub Africa, this programme seeks to bring together multi-organization networks to co-create sustainable employment solutions for vulnerable women and young people.
This initiative is part of the broader Work4Progress programme, which has already been successfully implemented in countries such as India, Mozambique, Colombia, and Peru, supporting over 30,000 enterprises and creating more than 70,000 jobs globally.
In Ghana, the focus is on the Afram Plains, a high-potential agricultural zone with significant opportunities for rural transformation, agribusiness expansion, and digital inclusion.
Work4Progress is an innovation-driven employment programme that strengthens local ecosystems of change through collaboration, experimentation, and scaling of solutions. The Ghana edition is structured around building collaborative networks of 3 to 5 organizations that will jointly design and implement employment-generating interventions.
