Overview

This Development Lead position offers an opportunity to support Medic's global community health innovation initiatives by leading fundraising operations and managing donor portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

Writing grant proposals, concept notes, reports, and letters of inquiry
Managing proposal calendars and submission timelines
Coordinating with internal teams for programmatic information
Overseeing the lifecycle of active grants and funding opportunities
Tracking compliance requirements and budget performance
Supporting donor outreach and relationship management
Maintaining donor engagement records through CRM systems
Researching prospective funding opportunities

Requirements

5–7 years of nonprofit fundraising or development experience
Proven success securing six- and seven-figure grants
Strong grant writing and storytelling capabilities
Exceptional organisational and communication skills
Ability to work effectively within remote global teams
Preferred: Experience with philanthropic and innovation-focused funders
Interest in AI, emerging technology, and open-source innovation
Willingness to travel internationally several times annually
