🚀 WE’RE HIRING: DIRECTOR OF COUNTRY EXPANSION

Lafiya is expanding! We’re looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Director of Country Expansion to lead our move into a second country in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Nigeria (initial onboarding) + Expansion Country (TBD)
Potential countries include: Burundi, Côte d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Benin, Senegal

Role Type

Full-time | 12-month renewable (based on performance & funding)

💰

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $24,000 – $45,000 USD (based on cost of living)
• Relocation package (accommodation + transport)
• Two annual return flights to home country
• Health & travel insurance
• 30 days paid leave + maternity leave
• Performance bonus (up to 2 months extra pay)

What You’ll Do

• Lead Lafiya’s first international expansion
• Conduct country feasibility research and stakeholder mapping
• Engage Ministries of Health and secure government buy-in
• Design and launch pilot programmes in new markets
• Build and manage early-stage teams and operations
• Drive innovation and internal pilot programmes post-expansion

Who We’re Looking For

• Strong background in public health / SRHR
• Fluent in English & French
• Proven experience working with government stakeholders
• Deep understanding of Sub-Saharan Africa contexts
• Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Willingness to relocate and work in dynamic environments
