Overview
This role offers an opportunity to support youth grants, leadership programs, and community engagement across 155 countries as an Associate, Strategic Pillars.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage youth grants, payment tracking, and reporting reminders.
- Collect updates for global impact and storytelling.
- Maintain youth databases and registration trackers.
- Support onboarding materials and resource organization.
- Moderate and update the Girl Up Community platform.
- Assist with logistics for virtual trainings and webinars.
- Respond to inquiries via Clubs and Project Awards inboxes.
- Coordinate promotion, recruitment, and onboarding for Teen Advisors and other programs.
- Support grassroots leader activities and curriculum management.
- Collaborate with regional teams to execute youth activities and initiatives.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
- Maintain safeguarding standards and best practices.
Requirements
- 1–3 years in program coordination, community engagement, or related fields.
- Experience working remotely across diverse cultures and time zones.
- Strong organizational and data management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience supporting virtual events/training is advantageous.
- Familiarity with youth-centered, feminist, or grassroots organizations is a plus.
- Passionate about empowering girls and youth activists globally.
- Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented.
- Demonstrates care, accountability, and sound judgment.
