Overview
This position as a Strategic Partnerships Manager (International Fundraiser) offers the opportunity to secure international grants and funding to support the global programs of Childhood Cancer International (CCI).
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research to discover international grants, funding agencies, foundations, and potential donors.
- Monitor grant databases, donor directories, and funding portals.
- Evaluate eligibility and application requirements of funding sources.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and board to develop targeted grant proposals.
- Prepare high-quality applications, including budgets, narratives, and impact frameworks.
- Tailor proposals to meet specific donor criteria.
- Cultivate relationships with international funding agencies, philanthropic organizations, corporate partners, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Expand CCI’s funding network through strategic outreach.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with existing donors and partners.
- Ensure compliance with grant agreements and reporting deadlines.
- Provide progress reports to donors in collaboration with staff.
- Maintain records of grants, applications, and donor interactions.
- Develop and implement a fundraising strategy aligned with CCI’s goals.
- Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to enhance visibility.
- Attend conferences, workshops, and fundraising events.
- Stay updated on trends and best practices in international fundraising.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in international development, marketing, communications, or related field.
- Minimum of three years’ proven experience in international fundraising and grant writing.
- Familiarity with international donor databases, funding portals, and grant management.
- Excellent research, analytical, and persuasive writing skills.
- Ability to develop budgets and work independently under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and sustain relationships.

- Salary: €63,000 per annum
