The global youth empowerment organization Girl Up has announced a new remote job opening for an Associate, Strategic Pillars, a full-time position designed to strengthen youth-led action, leadership programming, and community engagement across its worldwide network.
The role is primarily remote, with a strong preference for candidates based in the Global South, and will support programs that currently reach more than 465,000 young leaders across 155 countries.
The position sits within Girl Up’s Strategic Pillar Youth-Led Action team and plays a key operational role in ensuring the smooth delivery of youth-focused initiatives.
Founded in 2010, Girl Up works to develop transformative young leaders advancing gender justice through advocacy, education, and community-based action. The organization is fiscally sponsored by the Global Fund for Children and continues to expand its global footprint, with a goal of reaching one million girls by 2030.
The Associate, Strategic Pillars position supports the operational backbone of Girl Up’s youth programs. The role focuses on coordination, data management, grant support, and community engagement to ensure young activists receive consistent and effective program delivery.
The successful candidate will work closely with regional teams, youth networks, and internal program staff to manage systems that enable global youth participation and leadership development.
