    Job Summary

    MenEngage Alliance is seeking a passionate Advocacy Officer to support global efforts in advancing gender justice and transforming masculinities.

    This fully remote, full-time role involves policy monitoring, advocacy coordination, developing impactful policy materials, and leveraging collective power to influence policy at national, regional, and global levels.

    The position is offered on a one-year fixed-term contract, with a deadline for applications on 18 May 2026.

    Key Responsibilities

    Policy Monitoring, Analysis, and Influencing

    • Track outcomes of global and regional advocacy activities
    • Prepare updates, analytical notes, and summaries
    • Support drafting policy briefs on relevant themes
    • Assist outreach to policymakers and actors for policy influence

    Advocacy Coordination

    • Support planning and organizing advocacy events, consultations, and learning sessions
    • Coordinate member participation in advocacy spaces
    • Maintain the advocacy calendar and document internal meetings
    • Host advocacy working groups and facilitate information sharing

    Solidarity Actions

    • Monitor advocacy campaigns, sign-ons, and activism initiatives
    • Support engagement with external movements and regional leadership
    • Build regional relationships and leadership capacity

    Communications and Knowledge Dissemination

    • Collaborate with teams to produce accessible communications
    • Highlight advocacy case studies and advocates’ work
    • Draft policy briefs, updates, and related materials
    • Promote regional and national advocacy efforts at the global level

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in policy monitoring, analysis, and influencing
    • Strong coordination skills for advocacy activities and events
    • Excellent written communication and advocacy materials development
    • Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and regions
    • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
