Overview
This position offers a fixed-term contract for a Research Associate (Postdoc) in Behavioral Economics at Universität Hamburg, specializing in Sustainability Economics, focusing on behavioral and experimental economics.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct academic services for the “CLICCS” project.
- Pursue further academic qualifications outside of core responsibilities for the initial 8 months.
- Engage in teaching and research within the Department of Economics.
- Conduct independent and collaborative research under Prof. Dr. Anca Balietti.
- Design and implement online, lab, and field experiments.
- Contribute to high-quality research publications.
- Teach 5 hours within the Economics programs starting in the second phase.
- Develop and write research grant proposals, including collaborative funding applications.
Requirements
- PhD in Economics (completed by signing of the contract).
- Strong research interests in behavioral and experimental economics.
- Proven ability to publish in high-standard peer-reviewed outlets.
- Experience in conducting online and/or field experiments.
- Strong quantitative and coding skills in Stata, R, or other statistical software.
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
