Overview

This role offers an opportunity to serve as the primary focal point for Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) activities under the SARMAAN II project, focusing on enhancing data quality and supporting evidence-based decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement M&E activities, ensuring timely and high-quality data availability.
• Manage data collection processes throughout program implementation.
• Support coordination with State Ministries of Health for reporting compliance.
• Strengthen community feedback systems and promote accountability practices.
• Facilitate learning initiatives and document best practices across teams.
• Engage with government stakeholders and represent in M&E forums.

Requirements

• Degree in Statistics, Demography, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation.
• Strong knowledge of Nigeria’s public health system.
• Experience with HMIS, CLMS, and data systems like DHIS.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and statistical tools (e.g., Stata, SPSS).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to tight deadlines.
