Young adults passionate about creating change in their communities have a new opportunity to develop leadership and advocacy skills through the Fall 2026 Young Advocates Program launched by Young Invincibles, a nonprofit organization dedicated to amplifying youth voices in public policy and expanding economic opportunities for young people.

Applications are now open for the highly sought-after leadership development initiative, which will bring together emerging leaders from Texas to engage in advocacy campaigns focused on higher education affordability, healthcare access, workforce development, and civic engagement.

The 12-week paid program will run from September 18 to December 11, 2026, offering participants practical experience in policy advocacy, community organizing, and leadership development.

Empowering the Next Generation of Community Leaders

Young Invincibles has built a national reputation for empowering young adults to influence policies that directly impact their lives. Through the Young Advocates Program, participants gain hands-on experience working on real-world issues affecting their communities while building professional networks and leadership capabilities.

The organization’s mission focuses on cultivating courageous young leaders who can drive meaningful policy changes related to education, healthcare, employment, and civic participation.

The program is specifically designed for young adults aged 18 to 34 who are interested in becoming active advocates for positive social and economic change.

Program Focuses on Key Issues Affecting Young People

Throughout the program, advocates will participate in campaigns and projects addressing some of the most pressing challenges facing today’s youth.

Participants will work closely with Young Invincibles staff and fellow advocates to develop solutions, organize events, and engage communities around these important issues.

In-person meetings will take place on the final Friday of each month, providing opportunities for networking and collaborative learning.
