Overview
This program offers an opportunity to support the implementation of donor-funded health interventions in Plateau State, focusing on Tuberculosis (TB) and HIV integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute community TB screening and outreach campaigns.
- Conduct sputum collection and facilitate referrals to GeneXpert/DOTS sites.
- Track presumptive TB cases from identification to treatment initiation.
- Identify and manage high-risk DR-TB populations.
- Link HIV-positive pregnant and breastfeeding women to care.
- Monitor retention of mothers and infants in PMTCT programs.
- Conduct needs assessments and mapping exercises.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly program reports.
- Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Excel.
- Prepare data for DHIS2 reporting.
- Develop PowerPoint presentations for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with LGA TB/HIV coordinators and health facilities.
- Support budgeting, procurement, and administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Public Health, Nursing, Community Health, or a related field.
- 2–3 years experience in donor-funded health programs.
- Practical experience in TB Active Case Finding (ACF), DR-TB programming, and PMTCT.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of DHIS2 is an added advantage.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
- Resourceful and proactive mindset.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Plateau State.
